How to cut cheese for charcuterie

There basic rules when it comes to cutting cheese for a charcuterie board, but in general you can get creative with the way you cut your cheese.

For block cheeses like Gouda or Cheddar, you can cut them into cubes and spread them through your board.

For cheeses that are round, it is best to cut them into wedges. Start by cutting the cheese wheel in the center and then cut into equal-size triangles.

When cutting cheese you can use cookie-cutters to create fun shapes to add interest to your charcuterie board.
